Missing Sync for Blackberry on MacOS

Last Monday evening my old Samsung SGH-E900 died on me after providing 3 years of great service! A few people in the office have a Blackberry and they are very fond of it, so I decided to go for something new and give it a try.

Once of the features I have been missing on my Samsung was a nice Calendar and Contact interface with proper syncing with my Macbook Pro using Address Book and iCal.

After a bit of research on Google, I found two solutions; one being PocketMac and the other being Missing Sync. I’ve played a few days with PocketMac, but it turns out that it doesn’t work properly.

PocketMac does not sync all the contacts properly, nor does it handle Contact and Calendar updates well. It’s a well-known problem and many users experience the same problems.

However; Missing Sync works perfectly. I’ve been using it for two days and did not experience any issue. So, if you have a Blackberry and use MacOS I advise you to try out Missing Sync.
